Treffen Festival 2024 – L’Twills & Saeko Killy

Wollen wir uns TREFFEN? Musik-TREFFEN- Hamburg ist ein neues Underground-Indoor-Festival und findet das erste Mal am Donnerstag, 19.09.2024 in den coolsten Clubs südlich der Reeperbahn statt. 1 Abend, 16 Acts abseits des Mainstreams von Electro über Indie-Pop bis Punk in 6 Venues. Organisiert und kuratiert wird das Labels, Musik-Vertrieben und Clubs. TREFFEN von Hamburger Indie- Falls ihr eh in oder um Hamburg wohnt oder am 19.09.24 ganz zufällig in der Stadt sein solltet und euch für sehr gute Musik interessiert: Lasst mal TREFFEN! L Twills is the alias of electronic musician and multimedia artist Lila-Zoé Krauß. On 16th Feburary 2024 she released [After her Destruction] – a double album and queer opera project blending video-art, performance, storytelling and music. The project has been shown live at Popkultur Festival Berlin, Volkstheater Vienna, Forum Stadtpark Graz, Detect Classic Festival and was on view at Kunsthaus Hamburg from May till July 2024. L Twills creates a unique electro-acoustic avant-pop sound, combining electrifying rhythms, synth textures and expressive vocals. After having lived and played in Hamburg, Berlin and LA she currently resides in Vienna. 'Morphing Polaroids' is the debut album by Japanese born Saeko Okuchi alias Saeko Killy for Hamburg- based Bureau B. After moving to Berlin in 2018 Saeko Killy found herself in the orb of Club Sameheads, where she made herself known as a DJ and live performer. After releasing her first EP " 嘘みたいな世界で 踊れ – Dancing Pikapika" with the label Chill Mountain from Osaka in 2021, followed a fruitful Jam session during the pandemic lockdown, resulting in the eleven titles collected together here for the album 'Morphing Polaroids' produced by Brussels DJ and selector soFa elsewhere. The LP is a contemporary Leftfield Clubsound, effortlessly combining elements of Dub, Post-Punk and Kraut with electronic Beats.
