Mixed Up Everything: The four brothers Todd, Kevin, Blake and Koby (aged 24, 23, 22, 20) cannot remember ever not being a rock band. From their first street concerts in their hometown of Melbourne Australia, they have made it to the stages of festivals and clubs in Europe. They have just released their third studio album „What’s The Rush Now?“. Their YouTube channel with over 835,000 subscribers offers not only elaborately produced music videos but also numerous cover versions from all areas of rock music. Mixed Up Everything will be coming back to Hamburg to rock the Markthalle with powerhouse locals ‘The Batteries’ in August as part of their „The Rush Is Now Tour“. The Batteries sind gerade einmal 17 Jahre alt und haben schon ordentlich abgeräumt, ob beim Oxmox Music Award 2020 als Beste Hamburger Newcomer, beim My Six Stages Festival in Buxtehude, beim Song Contest im Ernst-Deutsch-Theater oder der 2021er Staffel von The Voice Kids mit Blitzkrieg Bob von den Ramones. Sie spielen eine melodische Mischung aus Punk, Alternative- und Indie Rock. Noel Timmich (Gesang, Gitarre),Kolja Reich (Bass, Backings) und Yuma Wüst (Schlagzeug, Backings) schreiben bis auf ein paar Cover von Rock-Klassikern alle ihre Songs selbst. Mit eigenständigen und frischen Eigenkompositionen wie Stop the War oder Do something now geben sie ihrer Wut über Kriege und Klimakrise einen authentischen Ausdruck. Different but same steht gegen Rassismus und Sexismus.
